Dave has been riding Craig’s boards for the last 5 years. He has lived in Huntington Beach for the last ten years and met Craig at a Katin Superstore Team workout. Dave won a couple of heats and was sponsored by Katin that week! Craig was his second sponsor and things just went up from there. With Craig’s help and his insane boards, Dave began competing and after his second year on the NSSA he came in 2nd overall for the Master’s Division (Southwest Conference 1998) and also made three men’s semifinals that same year. He also made numerous finals that year and came in 3rd overall twice in the Men’s HB Surf Series.

Although Dave does not compete as much as he used to, he plans on starting up again shortly. He works full time as a physical therapist, is married, and has two young “kiddos”! He still surfs 2-5 times per week (depending on how the waves are) because he has never taken a job that makes him begin too early. Dave says, “I can guarantee if you get an Interface Board your surfing will improve. YO-CG He’s the man!”
